Adoption and Surrender
Adopting a Wiseguy is very simple.  First you'll need to
submit an application.  This application is available by
contacting us.  We can email the application to you.  
We then schedule a homevisit and if all goes well, you will
soon be the proud parent of a rescued IG!!!  We request
that all members of the household be present on the day of
your homevisit so that we can meet the whole family!

We do not discriminate based on religion, sex, income,
nationality, handicap, etc.  HOWEVER we reserve the right
to refuse adoption for many reasons (not those listed
above).  At all times we must remain focused on the safety
and well-being of the IGs...after all, that's what we're here
for!!!  We request a $250 adoption fee for our IGs, though
occasionally we make exceptions based on future medical
needs, etc.  

We also request a follow-up visit after adoption.  This is
simply to see how everyone is getting along, and answer
any questions that may have arisen during your first few
weeks together!!
Surrendering
There are times when for whatever reasons, you may no
longer be able to care for your IG.  This is where rescue is
so important.  Please contact us at any time if you need to
surrender your IG.  We also have contacts within other
breed rescues and can assist you if you have a pet of
another breed or species that you can no longer care for.  
We do not judge anyone based on their need to surrender.
 It is truly our hope that anyone who is needing to
surrender feels comfortable in contacting us.
